We are seeking a part time bookkeeper for our firm.
This position will be responsible for handling the fundamental aspects of our clients' financial recordkeeping, including recording financial transactions, reconciling bank statements as well as payroll processing.
This position would start out as 3-4 days per week for approximately 25 hours weekly with the possibility of increased hours/days during our busy tax season.
The bookkeeper candidate should be proficient in QuickBooks desktop as well as online software, Excel, and a good knowledge of bookkeeping, payroll and basic accounting principles.
Honesty, integrity and sensitivity to confidential financial information is required.
A personal smartphone is also required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
